Vital Power Receives Contractor Safety Award - 18/02/2010
Drax Power Station, situated at Selby, North Yorkshire is the largest, cleanest and most efficient coal- fired power station in the UK, with the capacity to meet 7% of the UK’s electricity needs. Vital Power the principal contractors for the installation, testing and commissioning of the 11 KV Enabling Works for the New Biomass Plant have delivered this contract incident and accident free.
In January 2010 Vital Power was proud to be recipients of the Drax Power Limited Contractors Safety Excellence award for their outstanding safety awareness whilst carrying out the tasks set out in the contract.
